Now is the perfect time to get domestic in the kitchen, and these ‘not your average’ smoothie recipes definitely remind us about the beauty of innovation, creation and little bit of crazy!
Unless stated otherwise, the method with all of these recipes is quite simple, as long as you have a blender combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth!
Strawberry Mania
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
- 1 cup Low-fat strawberry yogurt
- 1 cup Frozen strawberries

Apple Pie
Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 cups almond milk
- large glass of ice cubes

Ingredients
- 1 Small banana, cut in half
- 1/2 cup Low-fat milk
- 1 teaspoon Creamy peanut butter
- 3 Ice cubes

The Sweety Pie
Ingredients
- 1 sweet potato, peeled
- 2 large carrots
- 2 apples
- 1/2 lemon, peeled
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Steps
- Peel sweet potato & lemon. Juice all ingredients and top with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
