Now is the perfect time to get domestic in the kitchen, and these ‘not your average’ smoothie recipes definitely remind us about the beauty of innovation, creation and little bit of crazy!

Unless stated otherwise, the method with all of these recipes is quite simple, as long as you have a blender combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth!


Strawberry Mania

  • 1/4 cup Cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
  • 1 cup Low-fat strawberry yogurt
  • 1 cup Frozen strawberries

Apple Pie

  • 2 large apples
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • large glass of ice cubes

Banana Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter Banana Web ready


  • 1 Small banana, cut in half
  • 1/2 cup Low-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon Creamy peanut butter
  • 3 Ice cubes

The Sweety Pie

The Sweety Pie Web ready


  • 1 sweet potato, peeled
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 apples
  • 1/2 lemon, peeled
  • 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon


  • Peel sweet potato & lemon. Juice all ingredients and top with 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
