On the 19 February Birmingham’s stunning singing sensation Natty Joshia, blessed us with his latest single ‘Rollercoaster’ featuring Shyan. Let’s just say one play of this and it’ll be on repeat in your ear phones for the rest of the day like ‘round and round we go!’

In true NJ style the song is brought to life with a refreshing beat, sing-a-along lyrics and vocals that run straight through your soul and chillingly down your spine.

The track makes me feel nostalgic reminding of a time when music was good, you know that old school Neo-soul vibe that had you rocking away like there’s no tomorrow? Mr Joshia brings together a smooth blend of funk with modern day R&B and a let’s not forget a fine dash of his Gospel roots.

Although upbeat, the song has its reflective elements speaking of life’s up and down nature and our ability to hold on through times of adversity. We are reminded that God is always in control despite our test and trials…AMEN 2 DAT!

Admittedly, it’s my first listening experience with Shyan and she certainly blew me away! Her delicate tone elegantly compliments Joshia’s to bring us a one of a kind sound.

Natty as always…Take a bow my friend, you came through for us once again, not that we would expect anything less of course!
