What do general tasks in your career consist of on a daily basis?
My tasks vary from designing a new website, branding for a startup to organising a festival for 3,000+ people.  Travelling is a also big part of my role, I spend time meeting and working with clients around the world, so one day I could be in London, the next in Copenhagen, the week after in New York. I love it! The only element that remains constant in my day is green juice lol!

Why did you decide to set up?
I wanted to have the freedom to express myself and create what I wanted to without restrictions.

When did you make a start on your career?
From the age of 15 I found my passion for communication when I became a Junior Journalist and wrote a column in my local newspaper. At aged 17, I was elected the Youth MP for Nottingham and this transformed my life from being interviewed on radio and appearing on television. I knew this was the industry I wanted to work in, so from college I went straight into University and achieved a Masters in Media Enterprise, along with two additional degrees, a PGCert in International Business Studies and a B.A (Hons) in Media and Communication. After working in New York as a freelance marketing work, I had a yearning to start my own business and two years later I came back to the UK and Creative High was born.

How did you set up?
I started by creating a plan, envisioning what I wanted, taking consistent action and working extra hard. I already had a laptop with all the software I needed for under taking website and graphic design work, and all the knowledge of events and marketing. I began by registering my company name, buying a domain, designing a logo and a website. Once the branding was in place I got an accountant and I began approaching prospect client and pitching, once money started coming in I was able to get my office and build my team.

Who helped you?
My main motivation force has always been my beautiful Mother who has been my biggest fan since I entered the planet. Also, my mentors provide me with business wisdom and keep me on track.

What have you learnt during your experience?
Be fearless, be good to everyone you meet, be grateful and go hard.

What advice can you offer to aspiring marketing consultants?
Learn as much as you can about marketing without conforming to the norm. Work smart, dream big and pay attention to your personal brand. For more information visit: www.creativehigh.com
