Not only is this pattern fun but its super easy to do! Whether its for a birthday bash or just to simply add a dash of interest to your fingertips – they’re great for any occasion!
Trina’s tip: For something different, try doing stripes vertical rather than horizontal, also experiment with colours!
Cut, file, shape, buff! Don’t forget to use cuticle oil to keep your nails healthy! Choose any two colours of your choice and white for the middle strip.
Apply a basecoat to make your pattern last longer but also to stop the polish from staining your nails.
In the top third of your nail apply one of your two colours. To make this easier you can use tape or nail stickers to section off the area then simply remove the tape or nail stickers once you’ve applied colour.
In the middle third of your nail apply the white stripe again using tape or nail stickers if needed.
Last, apply the second of the two colours you have chosen. This is the easiest stripe as you don’t need any tape!
Using a fine tip brush outline where the three colours meet with a single black line. Try not to make the line too thick.
Again using your fine tip brush, create zig-zag lines through the center white stripe on your nail.
Now with your fine tip brush, or dotting tool, add some dots between the gaps of the zig-zags.
Finally wait for the design to dry before adding the top coat to seal in the pretty-ful pattern!
