2014 Hair Trends

Hey it’s a new season, so why not try something different? Let your hair make a statement for spring / summer with these super sassy looks…

Flowers In The Hair

Dolce & Gabbana

An old time hair classic, that never fails! This season the re-invention of the flower accessory has come back with an elegant boom, especially to compliment a low or messy pony.

Messy Braid

One of our all-time fav’s from last season, so we’re definitely not mad that it’s back for SS14. Not only are plaits convenient for those of us who aren’t hair perfectionists, but it’s definitely a style that can look awesome on practically any skool girl. By the way, this season it’s either glossy or matte.

Statement Fringe

It’s all about being beautiful and brave this season! A fringe will definitely bring out the statement in your hair – whether it’s a short, full, cropped or long parted, it’s a great way to frame your face.

Retro Curls

Retro Curls

Resurrected from the 70’s, retro curls are huge hit for SS14. Not only is this trend frizz-free but it’s back with a modern twist that includes low side partings.

Low Pony

Jason Wu

Once you master the low pony for SS14, your bad hair days will be over! Word of advice girls, it needs to be super slick and secured low at the neck, oh and you may want to keep some high gloss spritz handy.

Mermaid Waves

Diane von Furstenberg

This is probably spring’s biggest trend and guess what? It requires the effort of little to nothing. For all the ‘cbb with my hair’ skool girls, you’ll be thrilled to know that mermaid waves are totally fuss-free and the more randomly placed and tousled the better!

This 1930’s inspired trend will certainly bring out an ooze of confidence in you this season!
