with Radio 1Xtra and The Space join up to bring you FUTURE TALENT.

Launching in the West Midlands, this opportunity allows you to bring your ideas to life and write, produce, perform, direct and edit your very own pilot webisode. Do it yourself or work with friends, film it on a smart phone or HD camera – this is your chance to be bold and original, tell great stories and develop fresh characters.

The best web pilots will be judged by Adil Ray (Creator, writer and star of Citizen Khan), Yasmin Evans (BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Breakfast Show host and DJ) and Kate Rowland(BBC Creative Director). Selected pilots will be showcased online and winners will be given the chance to develop their series.

Produce original drama or comedy content you have always wanted to make and get it in front of industry experts and BBC decision makers, and get your work online.

How Do I Get Creative?
Let your imaginations run wild – create whatever you want, with whoever you want and film it wherever you want! Your work will purely be judged on its originality -be real and keep it real!

Inject originality into your characters, grab the attention of audiences, and create a pilot with series potential. Can you create something with no budget using only the available resources around you? Got a phone? Go on we dare you!

Who Can Apply?
Anyone living in The West Midlands who is aged 16+ can apply –whether you consider yourself an aspiring writer, filmmaker, producer, director, actor or not – there are no restrictions.

Submissions will open from 16th Feb 1st – 2nd March 2015.
