Fabulous fashion isn’t always easy to find let alone afford. So what do we do? We simply go back to basics. Often ‘basic’ is naturally mistaken for dull and boring right? But today’s a new day baby, here are ten must have fashion items that every skool girl should have in there wardrobe this season, next season and the season after that!
#1 – A Blazer
Black, yellow, orange, or teal…colour really isn’t important here! A blazer is one of the most powerful, basic items that can turn practically any plain outfit into a catwalk. You can dress it up or down, but never underestimate the character it can bring to your look.

A court shoe is an ultimate fashion must have whether it comes heeled or flat. It’s essential to be prepared for occasions other than just a trip to the cinemas with your best pal. Courts are the sophisticated shoe and perfect for the more important occasion, you know like the business meeting with Mr Branson? – Jus sayin.
#3 – LBD!
Need we explain? We will anyway. To own a little black dress is one of the golden rules of fashion, period! If you don’t invest in anything else from this article, at least invest in an LBD! Oh and remember, just because its black, it doesn’t have to be boring! Look out for an LBD with interest – you know a unique sleeve, detailed structure or embroidered belt and most importantly make sure it compliments your frame.

This time your outfit is adorable but the mismatching underwear ruined it! Don’t do it to yourself, its fashion suicide. Again no negotiation, skin tone underwear is the solution that will keep you from committing a fashion sin.
#9 – A Plain Tee
Yeah we’ve all had the ‘I have nothing to wear’ day and so the plain white, grey, black or whatever colour you like comes to the rescue! A basic tee is your superhero, own it, style it, wear it and any outfit will surely love it. Simple.
#10 – Black Tights
I’m pretty sure that like us, you too have been in dire need of black tights at some stage – school, work, party. Whatever the occasion, it’s best to keep a pair or two (just in case the first one rips) handy. You just never know when or where you’re gonna need em’!
